Our attention has been drawn to an ongoing "HOUSE OF TALENTS" competition where the winner would win a contract deal with a multi million Record Label called "YOUNG SHALL GROW RECORDS" under the foremost and Nigerian leading transport company call "YOUNG SHALL GROW" and we have deemed it imperative to dug deep the heart of the Project Director and the CEO of GREAT MINDERS, The initiator of the event who happens to be a former Editor-in-chief of EKSU SU PRESS, Mr Temitope Awelewa to give more information about the competition. Excerpts
PRESS: Can we meet you?
Temitope Awelewa: My name is Temitope Awelewa, I am the Principal consultant of Great Minders International, a non governmental organization that renders service bothering on human capital development, a society that is saddled with the responsibility of transforming the youths and liberating them out of their shores of limited thinking to the rem unlimited positive thinking,connecting them to their passionate strengths and life purpose assignments, therefore eradicating unemployment among youths. We are a large family of charity, Manpower training, relationship building, children management and career mentoring.
PRESS: That is a great one...You are currently working on a project called "HOUSE OF TALENTS" what can you say about it and what led you into it??
*Temitope Awelewa: Yea...HOUSE OF TALENTS (HOT) was at first projected to be a Talent Concert where undergraduates can come together to display their inbuilt talents in the presence of those who are in positions to give voices to their creativities.
To God be the Glory,during the process of sourcing for partners and those who can help us to improve and invest on Talented students in other to prevent them from been useless at the end of their education and to help them become relevant in their generation, we found so many offers but the one from "YOUNG SHALL GROW COMPANY" happens to be the best amongst them.
What actually triggered the thought of "HOT" is the fact that there are millions of Talents all over institutions in Nigeria... But what they lack is opportunity that can announce them and make them relevant.
Thank God for some network providers that have been working on youths developmental programmes and organising campus tours that have discovered few talents....we shouldn't be waiting for them before our Talented students can get opportunities for development. I'm passionate about Talents because there are no employment out there and it is only those who have discovered themselves that will have the opportunity to rule their world.
PRESS: What are the areas of Talents under focus in this programme and what does the winner stands to win??
Temitope Awelewa: In This Edition,we are entertaining "MUSIC, COMEDY AND DANCE" and every outstanding Talents stands the chance to win something but the big one is for the overall winner of the competition.

PRESS: This is a huge one for EKSU Students.... How do someone register to participate???
Temitope Awelewa: Even though we are giving the first opportunity to EKSU students to pick up their forms before any outsiders, their turnouts has not been impressive.
Many EKSU artists are not ready to face the risks of greatness.... If you don't contest, you can't win and at a point in lives of people we are now hearing of and dancing to their music,they went for a contest and only one contest got each of them announced to their world.
Any Talent who is feeling big to embrace opportunities like this because he or she is well known already in his predominant environment would remain on a spot and lock his door against development.
For registration, all that they need to do is to buy a scratch card and form @1500naira at any of the selling points and that's all.
PRESS: When is the competition and what are the stages involved??
Temitope Awelewa: Every talents who have signed in through the scratched cards would be provided a web profile and a graphics for their personal publicity, the audition comes up on the 22nd of April while the grand finally would hold in EKSU by May.
These are the stages involved;
1. The Audition performances will be Televised and there will be an opportunity for a live streaming courtesy of YSG for students who may not have the privilege to attend the audition and home viewers
2. The Videos will then be uploaded on a website and YouTube where people can watch and rate the performance of any of the artists and this will last for 2weeks thereabout before the grand finally where winners will be picked with the likes of Toyin Aimakhu, Fliptyce, Mc Olimpia, Mc 3in1,Olumide Oresegun,Femi Prince and many more as our juries.
PRESS: When is the closing date for the form?
Temitope Awelewa: Congratulations to every artists that have registered already and this week is still open to all interested EKSU artists before we decide on other guys from other institutions that have been pestering us to pick up the form because we have limited forms and I particularly want EKSU students to be the beneficiary of this.
