An Open letter to EKSU student Union President

AN OPEN LETTER TO IBRAHIM OLADIMEJI ADEBAYO a.k.a PRODIGY
(What are we to expect).
On the 20th of June, 2015, Com. Prodigy was sworn-in as the President of the Student Union Government of Ekiti State University after he has duely won the election. Today, 2nd
April, 2016 makes it exactly 287 days that he has been sworn in and this question keeps coming to my mind; What are we to expect?.
By the special grace of God, another date (even if not accurate) has been slated for the next SUG election and handing over is going to take place, yet we have nothing to expect from the current Executive members. During the campaign of this administration, the President presented us (EKSUITES) with a three-point agenda among which we have the principal project of a pure water company (EKSU water) to be established which was welcomed by most of the students on campus if not all.
We must also jot forget that during the inauguration of the present Vice-Chancellor of this great citadel of learning, Professor Oyebandele, he also promised to execute the same project in other to serve as a source of income to the school management. In order to avoid the conflict of a interest, our dear president decided to put a stop to the project for the Vice-Chancellor to execute it. To bring hope to the Nigerian Students, the SUG president decided to move grounds by the construction of a radio station (EKSU FM).
On considering the cost of construction of a radio station, the Student's Senate Council (SSC) have decided to put the project on hold. This brings me back to the question I asked earlier, What are we o expect? Either we like the t or not, the curtain of this administration is drawing to a close gradually and if by now there is no plan(s) for the Nigerian Students (EKSUITES), I don't think there is ever going to be a plan. The emergence of this administration, to the best of my knowledge is based on trust. If by now, the President in person of Com. Prodigy is not giving us the benefit of this doubt, I fear for the next SUG election because I begin to ponder on the basis on which the next candidate would emerge.
To put an end to my letter, I would like you sir to come out open to us sir to let us know where we are headed and what our expectations should be. I have promised myself never to cease the use of my pen until the GOOD of EKSU becomes BETTER and the BETTER becomes BEST.
ALUTA CONTINUA
VICTORIA ASERTA
DARE TO STRUGGLE
DARE TO WIN.
I reman my simple self,
Hon. (Com.) BrainBox.
